Yes, when you see a "t" at the end of a Kenmore front-loader, it means it has an internal water-heater. It stands for "thermal." So, this goes for HE2t, HE3t, and HE5t.

The whole thing with the new HE5's are the suspension system. The Kenmore HE5t has a 6-point suspension system with four shock absorbers and two springs to isolate vibration. This makes it perfect for installation on any level. Be sure you are satisfied with the noise level, because if it does make more noise than you like, call Sears and get them to come out again. Sometimes it's possible that it wasn't leveled properly.

The front load washer spins at high speeds. When the spindle on the stainless steel drum fails at 5 years you will have to replace the washing machine due to vibration.
